Johnny Flynn - The Wrote and the Writ
This kid is some kind of wonderful. His music and his recordings are always beautiful in their stripped down and honest presentation. I think music nowadays has become over produced and too polished. Which is fine, I suppose, for some genres but I love hearing music as it is supposed to be played, with emotion, feelings. I want to hear a difference when the chorus is played the second time. I hate it when I can tell something is looped too obviously. Give me your raw talent! Give me your mistakes! Let me hear your voice for pete’s sake! I want to hear it!
